Shaduba Home For Life provides permanent, loving homes for dogs in need while micro-fostering rescue dogs on their way to safe, lasting adoptions.
WHY SHADUBA?

Along the way, one thing became clear: getting a dog out of an overcrowded shelter solves the immediate problem. Preparing that dog for a successful life outside the shelter can change everything.
When Georges and Sharon found property in Ridgeland, South Carolina, there was finally room to turn that idea into something real.
Today, Shaduba works with rescue partners to give dogs the care, socialization and foundational training they need before taking their next step.
For some, that's foster care. For others, adoption and a family of their own. And through our work with K9s For Warriors, some dogs may have the opportunity to begin an entirely different path in service to a veteran.
This is the space between rescue and home.

We provide a safe place for dogs to decompress, socialize, build foundational skills and prepare for life beyond the shelter — whether that's a foster home, a forever home or, for appropriate dogs, the opportunity to enter a service dog program.
